Robert, here is a full pic for you.  I carve it to a few different levels, sand them smooth, then burn them.

Q: You ever wet the bed doing all that wood burning like when we lit matches as kids behind the barn?  :rolleyes:    :D

Robert, in some ways it makes it harder to do.  Like on the outline of an animal with fir.

Thanks, Doc!  Never would have believed I could send people pieces of wood I burned and they would not only hang them on their wall but would pay me for them!  Wondering where the good Lord is taking me with this!
