i just bought a caribow tuktu from rnharris and wow what a shooter she is,fast and very smooth, whisper quiet.busted up four of my best damn arrows with it after i tuned it in to my liking.question:it had skins on it and i removed them to either replace them or leave the zebra wood underneath to show.how do i get the old glue off without hurting the wood? sanding? heat? chemicals?.it looks like the glue is pretty flaky and some i was able to peel by hand but the rest is on good....thanks...larry

Don't use chemical strippers. (The jigaloo or something similar to WD40 is fine)  Also don't use heat.  Basically, you don't want to use anything that would affect the glue used in the limbs.  Heat and chemicals could do that.

You might have to do the sanding, but it isn't that bad.  The glass is on top of the wood, so you won't get down to that.  Just be careful, go slow, and keep everything even.  100 grit should take it off quick.  You can use a rattle can finish if you want.  Before setting up a spray booth I've used Deft with pretty good results.
