Debates on Pow Wow

Some good discussions on here lately,arrow weight, EFOC, 2 vs.3 blade, steel vs. alum., super sharp vs. filed edge. All good thought provoking issues. I have learned more in the 2 yrs I have been on T/G than the previous 25 yrs. that I have been on my own. I think we should all be commended. For these debates show that in the end, we all want to do all we can, to do what we think is best for clean fast kills. Please do not hesitate to call me out, if you disagree with my opinion. Debate among gentleman can be a healthy thing. Thanks to all here. Your opinions are greatly appreceiated. Tom Bateman

This is the only place most of our opinion would even be considered(unless your single).I love a good debate as long as nobody gets their feelings hurt its all in the form of an opinion,and we are all gentleman and ladies.Heck I have had to eat my words typed and learned something I thought I knew many times(and wont tell the wife that).Its all good and thats what makes this a great site.

Yep,  good courteous discussions are always a great way to get lots of ideas so you can research a bit and make your own decisions what is right for you.

Beware the man who says he is always right,  he is most likely ill informed and often a deluded fool!

Listen to everyone, choose the best parts of each and make them work for you.

Let us not forget to thank our moderators,  who have the sometimes thankless job of reminding us to bridle our passions. Without them Even the most courteous group will sometimes allow discussions to fall short of civility.

Yes, Tradgang has been an excellent source for learning and exchanging viewpoints.  I wish I was smarter to contribute more, but my archery experiences go way back.  In those days, it was simply a matter of grabbing a bow one can manage, and go find some arrows to shoot.  If they hit the target, we were set to go.  I did manage to find some arrows that were spined for my bow weight.  FOC's, carbon, R/D - all greek to me in those days.  Thanks, all.

I believe I read somewhere that if two people agree on everything, one of them is unnecessary. I also think that we have to be gentle with one another when we don't agree..no matter how strongly we disagree there's never room for discourtesy.
