Okay gentlemen, looking for some suggestions.  I used to shoot instinctive years ago, but got out of it and went the compound route.  I've always kept my recurve, and this year I'm bound and determined I'm going to shoot it again.

I have a Bear Stag Hunter 50/55#.  The bow lists a string AMO 58".

Any suggestions on a new string for this bow?  I bought a cheapo string for it a few years back, but it's exactly that...a cheapo.

Secondly...thinking of arrows, and liked the looks of the heritage series from Carbon Express...pros?  Cons?  Thoughts?

Thanks for your thoughts...

Strings check the trad gang sponsers.

Oliverstacy and Chad weaver  both make great strings and will help you out.

Arrows the cx heritage is a good arrow.

SBD strings are also awesome and in the sponsor classifieds  as well.

I shoot CX 150's and have shot a few others as well...I love the CX and would recommend them to anyone.

Heritage arrows are a GREAT shaft---tough!

I think the 150's would be your best bet as I use  the 250's with 250 gr. up front and cut an extra 1" long out of my 62# recurve......

Hope this helps!
