THE PIG STICKER

My buddy called me today and asked if i wanted to hunt at his farm. So i headed down around 2:30 in the afternoon. We talked a bit then i headed to my tree. On the wayin i jumped 7 deer. I was frustrated but i sat it out. Around 4:45 i see a deer to my right about30 yards. It was a doe. It took 20 minutes for her to work to within 12 yards. Here is my chance broadside looking away. I started to pull my bow back. As soon as i hit my ancher and was focused on my spot she looks at me. I let it fly. She dident jump but i hit her a little back. It was borderline liver guts. She hoped a couple of yards and looked back. Then she started to feed she dident even know she was hit. Then she walked another 5 steps and beded. I wanted to put another arrow in her but there was no shot to thick. I sat there an watched her for an hour. Then i climbed down and went to talk to my buddy. I told him where i hit her and we waited two hours and went in to take a look. We found where she beded and he looked at my arrow. We agreed to get out and look tomarrow. She was bleeding decent and we dident want to push her. So i will let you guys know how it turns out when i get back tomarrow.

Good luck to you.  Hope you find her 15 yards from the spot.

Good luck this morning.  She's doesn't seem too distressed from the way you described her.  Let us know when you find her.

I found her in about ten minutes this morning. she only made it about 90 yards from where i last seen her. The shot was back where i thought just behind the liver in the guts.
