a COUPLE OF FREINDS ARE STARTING TO SHOOT TRAD AND ARE IN NEED OF BOW STRINGERS,THEY ARE LOOKING AT THE WEBSTER AND THE SKOOKUM and wondering if there is a major difference between the two,(recurves and longbows)they have each Thanks

SlowBowinMO

I personally believe the Webster is about the best stringer going, and it will work on just about any bow out there, no need for seperate recurve/longbow stringers.

I'll second the webster.

Do a search for "Bowstringers are dangerous" to see my thread from a couple months back.  I've got three websters now.
