I need some help from you tradgangers in cold country. What do you use on your carbons to help you get them out of frozen 3-D's and target bales.  I wax my shafts with car wax but that seems to help them go in further.Thank you, Tom

Concur from the frozen north.  I also use a Lube Tube from when I was big into 3D with compounds back in the 90s.....

I switched to some rounder less pointy tips that seem to penetrate less. That is what they were advertised to do, and it seems to be true. Got them at KK I think.

I worked at an archery shop for a while and watched many 3D shooters use a plain bar of soap. Apply it directly to the arrow, it will create a groove in the soap and it works great. I haven't seen it affect the arrow or its flight. It keeps your arrows smelling nice too! It is way cheaper than any of the arrows lubes.

I use food grade silicone on all my arrows and feather it waterproofs the feather and the shafts pull out easy and it has no smell.Get it any Ace hardware store.
