has anyone experince any issues with wool silencers and moisture causing your bow to shoot differently?

Whip

I use the Hush Puppies sold here by the Bow Hush gals.  The wool in these seems to have enough natural lanolin that they don't soak up water like some of the other wool silencers.  If it is rally wet I give the string a pluck every once in awhile and any water flies right off.

I usually spray some Scotch Gard over the wool silencers and have had good results.

They will pick up moisture in a heavy rain.  But will shed it well also.  It is startling when you shoot with them wet and water goes everywhere.

Haven't noticed a difference in impact point though.

I don't hunt in the rain here in Texas like I did in Washington State.  I don't have too.  LOL

I use wooly whispers.  Takes them a long time to get wet, and a pluck of the string gets rid of most of the moisture.  Regardless, even when wet, they don't affect my arrow flight.
