I have painted on bows before. I am a painter by trade, I recommend an alcohol based primer over a lightly scratched surface. I used acrylics because they have a tendency to stretch. I looked for pics but can't remember the photo site I was using back then. I wish I could because the bow came out sweet.

Thanks, Brother! I was thinking about maybe the Estes primer?

I would use krylon camo paints they are a dull flat spray paint and cut yourself out some stencils and have at it.good luck and show your pics when your done.
