Mike and Jason   :notworthy:  for making one heck of a bow.
The most recent issue of TBM featured the Orion.  You guys are producing a bow that is shooting speed wise with anything out there and higher then most.  But that bow is without a doubt the best looking bow I've seen in a long long time.

Is this the recurve or longbow version?

(I'm guessing both, but had to ask)

I was very impressed with the latest TBM story on the Orion, also what a beautiful bow. I really liked that riser.

SveinD,

The recurve limbs are featured in Blacky's article.  We would have liked to do both but they have rules I guess.  LOL

The longbow limbs shoot 3 fps slower then the static curve on the same riser.

We are tickled that it finally got in TBM.  Now just have to wait until my copy gets here.  LOL

Mike do you think that is all you lose between the static recurve limbs and the longbow limbs?
If that is the case, I would take the longbow limbs everytime because I prefer stringing a bow with longbow limbs versus those static tips. Longbows are just so simple.
You will really like the article if you haven't seen it yet.

Builder,

We've tested the bow extensively with chrono and shooting machine.  The static is fast for sure and the longbow limb is sneaky fast.

Mean no disrespect here by any means, but I've noticed the Dryad bows look alot like Hornes bows, anyone who has shot both, do they perform about the same, I had a Hornes & it was a GREAT shooter ... Thanks

Adam,

Now Jason did work for Mark Horne for a year so there are influences.  He also worked for OL Adcock so there are influences there also.  We also work with Brent at Black Mountain so there are influences there also. But I have to ask have you handled our bows?   I do take that as disrespectful that you make a statement that sounds like we copied someones bows. I suggest that this year at ETAR you take the time too shoot our bows and find out for yourself.

After thinking about this I'm going to take it as a compliment that you think our bows are in the same class as Horne's.

I agree Mike. They should have sent you a copy before it ever hit the news stand. LOL  :)

Not my intentions at all Mike, I apologize that you took it this way, Looking at your recurves reminded me alot of the Hornes Ridgerunner, that being said, Im only a L/B guy, but wouldn't mind shooting one of your Curves some day, Maybe I should've put this on the Product Review Page, Thanks Adam

I have the Orion with the long bow limbs. It is a great bow. I love the way it shoots as well as the way it looks. I have at least 3 Dryad bows and my next purchase will be recurve limbs for my Orion. Can't wait to see the article.
Slow down and enjoy life.  It's not only the scenery you
miss by going too fast - you also miss the sense of where
you are going and why.
