for almost a year.... learning about trad archery and really liking it....

I didnt grow up with a hunting family, being the first that does... but really want to hunt a caribou or moose...

Thinking about New Foundland (because its cheap)... any suggestions?

Or perhaps another hunt??

Thank you

Newfoundland is great for moose, but not so much for caribou.  The woodland caribou there have been in a slow decline for several years.

I think the 2010 Bear Quest still has a couple of openings.  It is a great bear hunt and you won't have to wait so long.

If I was a new guy, I'd listen to Rick.  Bear Quest will probably have about 10,000 years of combined traditional bowhunting experience and knowing the kind of guys that head up there, they all would be willing to share it.  GREAT idea!

Another vote for Bear Quest!
- You WILL see bears
- Tom and his crew set up the shots to make the most of traditional gear
- The people and atmosphere CANNOT be beat

One of the best values out there for a guided hunt
