I need a square foot or so of fairly light, probably around 2oz.,black leather to do a couple of grips.. Went to Tandy's websight but it appears that they only sell 1/2 hides or way more than I need..

Anyone know where to go for small amounts..

         Thanks for any help..

Well I dont know about anyone else but here in Billings we have two leather places. They have gigantic scrap bins and you can purchase scrap from there on an as needed basis. You might check some local saddlerys to see if they have some remnants.  Old motorcycle jackets at the pawn shops are cheap too.
I humbly follow in the learned footsteps of those who precede me.

Check with 3 Rivers. They sell squares of handle leather.

Check your hobby stores too if you have any.  We have Hobby Lobby and they sell a bag of leather scraps with most being perfect for handles.
