I'm buying a '55 Bear Polar and I need to know what length string to make. And whats a good starting brace height?

I believe the rule of thumb is 4" less than the amo length. If I recall that is a 64" amo bow so you should need a 60" string. Brace 6-7".

Then again being a semi recurve where the limbs dont touch the string it might be a 61" string.

Make sure you get more responses. Before you make or buy one.
