I am getting ready to order some arrows for my new Greatree Volcano recurve.

I am getting the Gold Tip Traditional carbons.

I need some suggestions on the correct spine.

My bow draw weight is 50# @ 28".
My draw length is 26 and 1/2".

I need to know the right spine to get and also what weight points should I be getting?
I think I need the total arrow weight to be around 460 grains to give me 10% of my draw weight with this setup?

Thanks!

Your set up is almost exactly like mine.

Give Big Jim a call, he's a sponser here and sells the Gold Tips that are "blemished". I just got a dozen with the 50 grain brass inserts and they fly like darts! I don't exactly see what makes them blemished, they look great and don't have any structural problems.

Thanks, I'll be sure to give Big Jim a call...

What spine would you recommend ?
Length and point weight would help also, forgive me, but I'm just starting out and don't know much about trad shooting.

Thanks again,
Scott

Take a look at some 35/55's, 100 grn brass inserts and 125grn points.  A 28" length should work out fine.

Thanks, I also checked out your website.
Looks nice !
Again, thanks for the info.
It is much appreciated!
