what are your thoughts on this bow? never hear anything about it. Im looking to start a bear bow collection and am thinking of adding this one. If you have one you want to sell let me know.

It's one of the newer models.  I've seen them in places like Cabelas.  It's certainly not a vintage bow.
Only when the last tree has died
and the last river been poisoned
and the last fish been caught
will we realize that we cannot eat money

Plan on spending alot of $$$$$$.There`s alot of models built through out the years.A certan model can change its look from year to year. You`ll get some good advise from some of the guru Bear guys.Have fun.

I have owned several Cheyennes, killed deer with them. They are a good bow. So far, they have no special value to collectors, too new.

At some point, the Gainesville bows will proably garner a corner in the Bear collectors rooms.  Keep an eye out for one on the big auctions and around classifieds.  They are the only 55" bow that Bear made and part of the sales go to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.  That makes it unique.
