My Grandpa gave me a Pearson Cougar 45@28 and 64" long a long while back. Can anyone tell me what years these bows were made? The only other wrighting it has on it is the number 704 before the length. My grandpa said that the destroyer he served on was giving them away when he recieved it.

My next question is that my draw length is 28" so i would be drawing 45#s... would this be adequate with my arrows (around 500 grains)and a razor sharp WW to kill a whitetail ethically?
