No shots, but...

This morning was clear and windless for a change, and these guys showed up. The deer never came within range, and the turkeys would have been a chip shot, but my tag is already filled.
This buck is mature but his rack is nothing spectacular; a basket rack 4x4.

This one is a young 4x4; in a year or two he might be pretty good.


The turkeys will have to wait until spring, but they are fun to watch.


Not a bad way to spend a morning, although no shots were fired.
