Nice vid. Interesting to see the vastly under spined arrow at the end!
Stand up and say it loud: I am a gap-shooter and proud!

Had seen it before, but always enjoy. Listed along with it on YouTube is slow-mo of a modern compound being shot. It removes all doubt as to whether a compound is actually a "bow".

Bear, I looked at the compound video (well, one of them, I guess it's the one you meant.)  It was kinda black and white looking with the bow mounted in a holder/shooting machine.  The danged thing on the string that they clip the release to went all the way forward and looked like it hit the rest!  I counted about 30 oscillations in the string (both directions).  No wonder they're so loud!

Hope I'm not out of line posting the above comment but really am doing it "in comparison" to trad.  Never realized how much difference there was in the mechanics.
Dave

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.
