I can't say enough about my 09 season.  After taking a turkey on the first day of the spring season, I have followed it up with two deer.  All three animals are the first ones taken by me and traditional equipment.
The first was shot at about 15 feet, high through the left upper shoulder and exited inside the right leg.  Distance traveled was about 80 yards.
Deer number two was taken last week at about 23 paces from a Tree Saddle.  Shot wasn't as good as the first, but it only went about 50 yards.  The pic is of deer #2, and although I wanted to share the pics of the home made sausage and pasta dish that followed, my phone (where my pics are stored) did not want to cooperate with my e-mail.
