Hi all,

A friend on holiday here wants me to build him a T/D bow case for his recurve. Not having a recurve on hand to measure, can any one tell me what the length of the limb would be for a bow with a 15" riser and tip to tip length of 62"??

I'm looking for the staight length, i.e. if an unstrung limb was placed on a flat surface, the length from the butt of the limb to a point in line with furthest point of the recurve portion of the limb...if that makes sense!

Just trying to work out how wide the bag should be. Commercial bags seem too wide IMO.

Thanks!

Matabele, I have a 62" Black Widow PMA that has a 17 1/2" riser and the top limb measures right at 25"

That is measuring straight across from the butt to the tip. Hope this answers Your question.

**DONOTDELETE**

23.5" butt to tip so add 1.5" for the extra length of top limb and You get 25" make you case 26" and You'll be good to go.
