Alum. or steel, is one better then the other?

khardrunner

I think it more comes down to what weight you want. Most alums are only around 40-50 grn while the steelies go up to over 100 grns.

Strenght of steel is the main benefit

I had some 125 grn snuffers and needed a heavy weight upfront to get my arrows flyn good.  Bought the steel 100 grn adapters.  Replaced the 25 grn aluminum adapters and now I have 200 grn snuffers and some great flyn arrows.

Line khardrunner, comes down to what weight ya lookn to get.

I did the exact same thing but with the 145 snuffers. Works great!

Just gives you more options to work with the weight.

Steel will be stronger but heavier obviously.
