Do any of you use these? I have lost almost all my old Bear Razorheads, so its time for a change. I have never shot a head that wide and wonder if it is really finicy about  your bow setup. I shoot a hoyt recurve 58" 55@28 but my draw is 26".

I love the big Ace Super Express. It's strong, it flys great out of all my bows and it's easy to put a sharp edge on...

I haven't found them to be finicky at all.  Easy to sharpen as well.

I used one to kill this big 2 inch shielded boar.....

Head buried in the off leg bone and had to pull it out with a pair of pliers....

That boar was killed with a 70# longbow....but the same head should blow through whitetails with your bow all day long.

Then I killed this hog also with the wide ACE and bow....but the wooden arrow stuck in a tree he was standing in front of and he broke it off as he left out for his 30 yard death run.

Also shot another nice gray boar and shot a 60 pound black boar the same weekend....at The Paradise but no camera that weekend so I didn't get any pics ....       :(

But I like the head....I mostly shoot 3 and 4 blades....but if I do shoot a 2 blade, I shoot wide ones, and ACE's are dandy.

I really like them. Shoot both 175 and 200 depending on the set up. I shot 3 deer with them out of a self bow last fall and all went down in less than 80 yards. They sharpen with a file just like the old Bear Razorheads.

OH! To answer your question, I had a touch of trouble mounting(operator error) and then it was game on. They fly sweet.

At first light, the ACE head worked just fine. Good luck with your set up.

nice buck, Chuck by the looks of your arrow it was a pass through shot-a picture is worth a thousand words

2treks

Yes, a pass thru. He turned at the loose and I went thru the liver and one lung. lots of blood and about a 3'-4' wide blood trail. the off side trail was WELL marked with big gloms of heavy blood.
I have not shot a two blade head for almost 7 years and was a bit rusty on my tuneing/sharpening skills. but I took the heads and mounted them to my 100gn steel adapters and screwed them into my 100gn. brass inserts that are epoxied into my hammerhead AD's (750gn.total) and put the presure to them on my sharpening block(2 files screwed to a "V" block). after I re-set the bevel I made some lite strokes and then finised up on my trusty strop and then popped some hair off my arm. OH! I all so filed the tip flat and square. About a 1/8" chisel type tip, it was very sharp.
The fletching was white 5" four fletch.
The arrows and the big ACE heads flew well out of my 59#@30" LONGWALKER longbow. Good luck.
