That's one of those snortin', mean ol' cow-headed does!  Just as hard to get close to as any trophy buck.  Great job!  Show 'em how us mountaineers do it!

What would you attempt to do, if you knew you could not fail?

Good job, buddy. two weeks from tomorrow is our opening day.

It's great when a good shot leads to a short blood trail!

That's what we all look for and glad to see you have a great season start doing just that.

Muzzleloader in September? Who'da thunk it?
You are too far away to be chasing the deer into Virginia, but I hope I get some October action like that on our side of the line!

Way to go Wayne. An old, long headed doe like that has been around a long time, and they are as hard to kill as most trophy bucks.
Throw in the rut and they may be tougher!

Great job!!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Those big ole does get the utmost repsect from our group , we call em Logger heads.

When you are busted they blow snot all over the woods   :)

I have one on my place that has a knot on her hind leg that is at least 7 years old. I haven't seen her this summer hope she made it.
