Needed some 160 gr. BH for my Wesley Special so I picked up a 6 pack at Compton's back in June.  I found they fly very well and are easy to sharpen but have'nt tried them on game yet. Just wanted to know from anyone that's actually hunted with them what your thoughts are,and how they performed on game.

They go 'ZIP' right through deer.  Blood trails are dependent on where you hit 'em.

STOS from a Wesley Special? Heck, yeah!

They perform very well on larger game, like bull camels, too.

Never heard anyone say anything negative about STOS. Excellent heads

I needed some 260 grain BH's for my Firefly longbow set-up and decided to weight some STOS and sharpen them up. I filed them to be razor sharp before my recent trip to Wyoming and managed to get crack at two nice pronghorns.  The wound inflicted by those BH's was unreal...absolutely devastating.  I would not hesitate to recommend the STOS as a top-notch hunting head.

I haven't tried them but they just LOOK like they'd put a hurtin' on anything they touch.
