It's gotta be true too.  I'm new to the trad archery thing and ran right out and bought 5 or 6 "vintage" bows.  I probably don't need all of them but I can't decide which one(s), if any, to let go and if I DO let one or more go, I WILL regret it.  Weird.

They call it buyer's remorse. There is lots of info on vintage bows, especially on collecting. Stress lines, cracks and delaminations are something to be considered before heading to the woods with a new treasure. Check the bows out thoroughly, have fun.

I just traded a brand new 750.00 custom recurve for a 59 kodiak special signed by Glenn St. Charles and im having sellers remorse BAD. I just took up traditional archery 5 months ago and i now have 4 custom bows and 20 Bear vintage bows. It would be hard for me to part with any of them.

You don't dry over spilled milk.  You didn't have any qualms about selling or trading those bows so just let it go or you will never enjoy the ones you have.

I've sold bows in the past that I wished I had kept, but then I've always found ones that were just as good.  Sometimes it is hard to leave a comfort zone, but sometimes, it's the only way to find that special one that you know you will never trade or sell.

Joe....I have a book that Glenn personally signed for me and added a comment; his wife Margaret also signed it with a little note.  I wouldn't trade that book for a $750.00 custom recurve.  Some things money can't replace; you can buy custom recurves anytime.

I have sold some really nice bows for many reasons.Some don't hit POI for me,others many to long AMO and so on. I have really thinned down my bows I had to many good bows and narrowed down to the best of the best bows.

Very rare, mint, 1953 Bear. On a early 70's black bear that looks like it's been used as a canoe padle for the last 5 years!

The one I like is Very obvious, "send pic's", heck I'd be doin this All day long, and 99% of the people don't buy them anyway, course it only takes that one, I understand the buyer likes to see what he's gettin, but my Gosh !! I think everyone just wants to look .... And if they could've seen the one's I let go for the prices I let em go at, they'd be kickin themselves for not buyin them .... Oh Well ...

If your that attached you should'nt sell or trade. I trade and buy or sell cause its fun and I get to try new stuff all the time. Plus I have been in contact with some nice folks here on the Gang.

I've been in this for 1 1/2 year's give or take and I can't count the number of times I've heard people saying, "I used to have a (insert manufacturer name here) bow. Shot awesome! Loved it! Too bad I sold it!"

My thought is, that life is to short to shoot the same bow all the time, so you might as well shoot a bunch.Use to have a bunch,came to the realization
that there was no sense in that,so now when one is bought,one gets sold. Keeps the inventory really simple.
