Need opinions on the Sarrels Blackhills longbow from those who own, have owned, or have shot it.
Also need similar opinions regarding the Dryad Phoenix and Phoenix Lite. At the present time I am favoring the Sarrels Blackhill longbow. If anyone has good photos of the Blackhills I would appreciate seeing them. Would appreciate opinions both pro and con.

I own a Sarrels Black Hills, 58", 61@27", bow-bolt, bubings riser, black glass, bamboo lams.  Absolutely one of the smoothest bows I've ever shot, it feels like it's five pounds lighter and absolutely zips an arrows.  It is the traveling companion to my ACS CX, and shoots the same arrows.  Bob's customer service is great, and his turnaround on a new bow is very fast....

I own a Dryad Soothsayer....not a glass bow, but the handle is very much the same.  I also own an Orion takedown recurve.  Yeah, I like Dryad bows alot.  Wingnut, Connie, and Jason will take care of you as well as anyone...

In my opinion, you can't go wrong with either one.  I will say that the grip on the Black Hills is a lower-wrist, more of a "longbow" style.

Good Luck!
