Ive been shooting these out of all my mid 40 bows and really like them...

If your shooting them ..i'd like to hear your set up and what broadheads youll be using...

Right now im shooting them out of a 44#treadway, cut shy of center. I'm using 28.5" arrow with 225 up front... I'll be hunting with 2 blade zwickey eskimos.

Ive got a 3pc firefly coming that i will be trying soon....thanks ahead of time !

How long do the 1535's come?  I have a problem tuning an arrow for my wife's 27"draw with a bow that is 27# @28".  Tried St  Epics full length and they are still too stiff for her with 300 gr up front!  They shot great for me with a 40 # @ 28" bow.  I draw 29 1/4".  Sorry I don't mean to steal your thread, I'm looking for info too.

pine nut...they come 30"..they do accept the standard size inserts...but i dont think youd be able to get them to shoot at 27#s....youll probably need to tinker with some lighter spine aluminums or maybe some easton redlines..you can get them in a .680 or .790 spine.

What is the total arrow weight with the 225 up front?

I'm curious as well:

I just picked up a half dozen at 29 3/8's and am going to shoot these out of my 47lb Treadway, trying for 250 upfront.

I believe they spine about what a 1916 would, if not mistaken.

Cherokee Scout

I am shooting the 1535 out of these bows, all using 170 STOS.
A&H 58" 40 lb 29.5" to 30.5".
Browning Backpacker 54" 47# 29.5"
Sipsey Stick Prototype 58", 45# 29.5".
Remeber - every bow is different, it is not only weight, it is riser cut, string material, silencer type, etc. Every 45# bow will not shoot the same shaft.

40 lb ACS CX, 175gr STOS broadhead. I can shoot the shaft from 29" to full length with excellent flight.
I believe Big Jim will sell an individual shaft, 229-420-5669
