Removing snakeskin on a bow

I just bought a bow with snakeskin on it an was wondering how to remove the snakeskin.  I didn't know if anyone here had done it before.  The bow is a fiberglassed bow with python on it.  I am looking to put a camo covering on the face instead of the snakeskin.  Any ideas in here?  Chuc.
