I was in a little neighborhood Hardware store this morning that, believe it or not, continues to sell Traditional Archery supplies. Mostly fletching, nocks, adhesives, strings, things like that.  Not a lot mind you but I can usually find something useful.  Anyway their entire bow inventory consists of 3 Recurve bows, one of which is a Bear Pony recurve, 52" and 35#'s@28" for $250.00.  I'm thinking this would be a good bow for my adult daughter who's coming to visit next week.  When she was much younger, Cortney and her brother and I shot a lot of 3D and she really enjoyed it.  She now lives in Fla. but has expressed a desire to get back into archery and since I no longer have a bow light enough for her I thought this might be a good deal.  Unfortunately I can't find any info on these bows since they have been discontinued.  So I thought I would ask here and see if anyone had one and could give me their input. Oh yeah, this is a new bow.

Rick, you might try to post this over in the History forum as well. The Bear GURUS over there could help you I'm sure!
