Well, after 2 yrs, we finally drew Iowa tags

Got the news this morning, my buddies and I drew Iowa tags! We will be hunting area 7 the second week in Nov. Five wheelie hunters and this longbow guy! Can't wait!

You using an outfitter or doing it on public land? I hunted SE Iowa once and I can't put into words how awesome it was! Good luck!

We are hunting a private farm, not guided. Hang in there guys, we were told you would probably need two preference points to draw and that's what it took! Thanks for the well wishes.

Zone 7 ? Ain't that where I live? Only non residents have zones so I'm not sure, but if you are in the Iowa City area, call up and stop by for a visit.
