Yeti, I have owned two of J.D.'s Mojostiks and they are a fantastic bow, but his Kajika is better. I have two other top end bows and the Kajika definitely holds its own.

This one is brand new and I wish it were a little lighter weight. It's 55 lbs and I like them around 50 lbs.

TJ, that's a sweet one for sure. I should have mine in a couple of weeks. Macasser and Olive riser with stained Ash veneers but I might skin them with Western Diamondback. I'll post pics when I get it. I like both your skin jobs!! Copperhead and Eastern?

xtrema312

I don't have one, but I have shot them, and if I get a TD bow that is what I want.  It is a very trim 3-pc.  It is smooth, fast, and stable.  I just got my mojo a few weeks ago, and I was really tempted to change my order to the Kijika after shooting them, but I plan on two sets of limbs and didn't have the $$ saved yet for that.

Here's another one of the JD LUND masterpieces! This one is the grey action wood with diamond back skins, I added antler limb bolts but don't have pics yet!!

It is very smooth, very quick, and very quiet! I love this bow even more than the widow I used to have!! TJ,that is one sweet looking bow also, and right in my weight range!!

Love the two I have...they're fast also.

56" Kajika Osage/zebra riser with Curly/burly Osage limbs backed with Canebrakes.

Pronghorn Antelope tips:

It shoots a 571 grain arrow 189 fps.

I also have the bow I call "Wormy"...RC and LB limbs.  It has a Osage/Myrtle riser with Myrtle limbs.

You can't go wrong with one of these...

Hey T.J.  Send the Kajika to me if you don't want to shoot it...it has almost the exact same specs my 56" has.  I can't shoot mine enough!

I have a 56" 51# recurve in gray actionwood like Jimmerc's. I'm happy with it and it is really hard to put down. It's faster than what I was used to and is also quiet.

I had a mojostyk that was as fast and quiet and fast as any bow I have had.  I got rid of it in a moment of weakness.  I have a kajikastyk on order.  Osage and Bacote.  She's a gonna be sweet.    :goldtooth:

I need some updates.  How do you like your LB limbs compared to your curve limbs for speed, accuracy, and quietness?  I am planning another whisperstik in the future, and I need to decide what to get for limb types and lengths.  I am either doing a 62" mojo, 62" voodoo, or kajika with 58" and 62" limbs.  If I do a kajika I am not sure if I want LB or curve for the 62" limbs.  I have only shot one voodoo that was on the lighter side and 60".  I thought it shot very well, but it was a limited experience so I just don't have enough to go on to make up my mind.

What length are your curve limbs? They look close to the same in the one pic you posted; I will guess 58".  I see the limbs are close on weight for your signature line. How do the two limbs compare with each other for speed, accuracy quietness.......?

My curve limbs are 56" and as for speed the curve is faster than what i'm used to and LB limbs are faster than the monarch LB I had that was 68" 59#@28/ you can see some difference in speed between the two limb set ups The curve is faster maybe by 8 to 10 fps,but i don't cronoy any of my bows anymore!! I have no doubt that these two setups will push an arrow through most any game critter I'll ever hunt!! What I found great about having both limbs with the kajika is you have the same riser/handle and both shoot the same/same feel! I love this bow and if I could I would buy another!!
I'll add that the arrows that I shoot off the longbow weigh 685gn/the arrows I shoot off the recurve are 635gn that's 50 gn difference!

I am waiting on UPS to bring my new Mojo Stik. Osage supreme

HATCHCHASER

Got mine saturday and it is sweet.  I have not had time to shoot it much and as soon as I do I will give a more detailed review and pics.  Osage and Bacote, Bacote limbs, horn tips.  56" 52@28".  I might add that I draw an honest 30" and I have no stack or fingerpinch.  As a matter of fact the bow is 56.5 lbs. at 30".
It's not the arrival, it's the journey.

I should have ordered a set of longbow limbs before my wife had me buying things for the house.

Here is what I've gotten with a 30.5" 571 grain Easton Axis 400...all are drawn to around 29.5".

62" Osage Voodoo longbow 60@28" aka "Thor" shot the arrow 192 fps
56" Kajika Recurve 57@28" aka "Smokin' Joe" shot the arrow 189 fps
60" Kajika longbow 55@29" "Wormy" 181 fps
60" Kajika Recurve 55@29"  "Wormy" 185 fps

I don't worry about speed but JD asked me chrono them since he knew I had on.

The 56" is ultra smooth!

That is great info for speed comparison.  How do you find the other things compare like are the LB limbs much quieter, smoother, more forgiving?  Do you find the limbs between the curve and LB to shoot basically the same due to the same riser?  If I get two limb sets I will go recurve on the shot ones, but I am undecided on the long limbs.

I'm no expert by any means, but I've had alot of bows over the last 16 years that I've been shooting trad and my new to me 56" Kajika recurve is by far the smoothest and best shooting bow that I've owned or shot.
