Just for the sake of knowin. Will a 225gr field pt, 50gr brass insert plus 175gr field pt, and 100gr insert plus 125gr point all fly the same or does each setup have its own characteristics?

They should all have the same spine and point of impact. Throw a broadhead into the mix and you probably will have to make a few adjustments.
