Imnaha, Minum Oregon Elk Hunt

Hello,
Just got back from my sisters house in Joseph, Oregon and have decided to hunt this area for elk in Sept.  Have any of you hunted or know of these two zones (Imnaha, Minum)?  I'm from Idaho and would appreciate any information that would help as I research these two areas.

Never hunted there.  My wife and I took 2 weeks of vacation and drove all over oregon.  We drove from Joseph to Imnaha, then up into the mountains and camped a couple of days.  Beautiful view and we saw quite a few elk from that narrow mountain road.  I wish you well.

Me and Charlie Lamb hunted out there with Robin Severe a couple years ago. What awesome views! That is some rough country out there. I'd certainly advise hooking up with a local. Good luck! CK
