I am thinking of trying one and wonder if they help. I am shooting a 54# bow and am not looking to go up in poundage, only to make it easier as I get older.I was also wondering which one would I need. Thanks  BOB

Hi Bob... I have the bow fit exerciser and use it for my non pulling arm to keep the muscle balance between the two sides of my back. It will help you for sure. It also comes with some instructional exercises to help out...

I'd get the yellow band. I can't remember how they are marked as far as weight, but you can make them all stronger or weaker by how much of the "overlapped band" you hold...

I have one also and used it to rehab shoulder surgery. They do work.

I picked up the "heavy" exerciser.  As far as I can tell with my bow scale it only goes up to about 60# even though it's advertised 50-80#.  I tripled the bands like they described.  I'd get the heaviest one they have if I were you, it's adjustable enough to get any range of draw weight.

I use the "Safari" model. It pulls 55# with a single band, when doubled it is 82# up to 106#, depending on how short you make the tube. The bow hand handle and drawing strap are adjustable, so you can get the bowfit to feel close to the brace height of you bow.
I have been happy with mine, and think it is great for indoor drawing practice. Plus you can take it just about anywhere. For such a simple device it does do a good job of building muscles and keeping them toned.

I use one - they work well - I have them in both sizes. It is easier for me to work my left arm - like I am drawing left handed with the bow fit. If I draw my bow with my left hand it seems so awkward??

3rivers archery has them.  Maybe other sponsors as well.  Or straight from their website.   :)
