I am interested in getting started building wooden arrows for myself, and on one website that it not a sponsor here they had a kit that came with everything needed to get started with the first 12 including the fletching jig, glues, feathers, etc.

What I was wondering does one of the sponsors here have that same kind of kit? I have looked at a few place and have not seen anything like that.

Thank you,
Chester

I don't know that any of them do, but they could sure set you up with what you need.  What kind of fletching jig does the kit include?  You don't need a Bitz, but you don't want some cheap POS, either.

A starter kit is not a bad idea, tho.  Just remember, there is a ton of info and help available here.  T.J. Conrads' "The Traditional Bowhunter's Handbook" is a very good reference source.

Martin J-8, left wing Fletching Jig is the one that comes with the kit.

The reason that I liked this kit is there is nothing that I would forget to order and then have to order something else later to finish them up.

Now that you know what's included in the kit, you'd probably not forget to order something if you ordered from a sponsor here.  You may also want to consider a local shop.  Nothin' better than supporting your local small business people.
