350 grains up front takes away a lot of spine from that .340, and, depending on the length you end up with, makes it about a .500.  So I doubt very much that you are over spined.  If you get good flight and can stand the weight, then be happy and do it 8^).

That bow is pretty quick(he got it from me). I'd be more inclined to think he'll need to lose a little point weight.

I would say 400 would work better, I shoot 56@29.5 31 in arrow with 300 up front.

I've never talked with an archery shop owner that did not want to emphasize speed and trajectory over weight and penetration. Especially if the majority of their business comes from compound sales. Your bow should handle your current set-up just fine. Hogs and deer should watch out for you. Good luck and "keep'um sharp".
