I found some AFC 2300's... What to do?

As I was going through some old stuff in my storage unit, I discovered discovered two old Lakewood Pro series cases. Upon opening one, I found 18, brand new Bear/Jennings AFC Stealth 2300 carbon arrows. These are full length (>30") complete arrows, green and yellow vanes with outserts and bullet points in place. The vanes are stiff and will probably crack, but they are nearly 25 years old...

So, do these have any value if I were to offer them up here?

I shoot a 48# longbow now, and I will purchase a new recurve soon, but it will be 50# or less, so I don't know that these will be useable at my draw length of 28"

I may take them to Denton...

Advice please...

Bill Carlsen

With the right point weight they might shoot well out of your 50# recurve. Stripping and refletching them is an easy task. Those old AFC's make great hunting arrows.

Don't listen to Bill ! those things are real dangerous and if you don't know what your doing your going to hurt yourself. Send them to me in Canada ,get them right out of the country and I'll dispose off them in the proper way!OR if your going to sell them I'd definately buy them, just to stop you from getting hurt.

Thanks for the concern about my safety...   ;)
I just refletched a few last night, so I will see how they fly. I have all intentions to buy a new recurve at Denton Hills so I will see after that about selling them.

Thank you

Don't send them to Blake !He'll probably fletch them in some far out physidelic colours and all the mojo would be lost. Its much cheaper to Canada as I'll pay the postage LOL!.
