I have a well shot up Will Stop it bag that still has some life in it. What's unusual is that the middle dead center of the bag is hard as a rock. If I make a center shot it bounces off. Field points are sharp and do fine in other targets and anywhere on the bag except the dead center 8 inches round.

Anyone ever have this problem? Any way to soften it up?

Thanks

Just one more step please!

LOL Butthead for sure. Was thinking of driving over it with the pickup

what actually made it so hard in the center?

EricW

I have the same problem with a Morrel bag target. I think after all the shooting it packed the stuffing to one side. If I turn the target around my arrows bouce off.

I've had a few of those Will Stop bags. Yeah, they pack that filler in tight.  I've had a few bounce out, but it'll eventually soften up.

Yeah, I've got a few of those. What you're saying happens to pretty much all of them if your hitting the same spot over and over and over and over.... Usually I just lay the bag on its side and stand on it to push the material around some... I guess I kind of "fluff it like a pillow"... It's a quit fix though and you'll probably have to do it every so often...

I have the same thing going on...the center is shot out on one side and all the stuffing is balled up.  I turn it over and jump up and down on it then I reach in the black hole and pull the contents back to the front.

I'm 6' 240 so jumping on it will even things out.

Jumping up and down on it really helped mine.

sweet old bill

get a new bag, and take the old stuff out, put into the new bag, jump up and down a few times to get it flat.

you will be back in business...
you should see how I use to shoot

Was thinking about getting a U Stuff it bag and stuffing it with the contents of the U stop it

This bag is close to 2 years old. It didn't get softer, it got harder.

Wait 'til something goes wrong, you stump your big toe, dog tears up a pair of boots, scratch your truck, something, and keep a baseball bat handy.

Unleash the fury, grasshopper!

On a serious note (other than that will actually work), youll have to reorganize the stuffing some other way.
