And to think, there are alot of folks in this beautiful country, with woods like that right out their back door...and yet they sit in the house.

Hats off to you George.

Benny Nganabbarru

Very beautiful country you have, George.

I'm sitting in an oil rig in the middle of the North Sea.  Ben her for about 14 days now and those pictures gave me a nice brake. Thanks.

Thats nice George. Its so stinking hot & the skeeters are thick here right now. The poison Ivey in my neck of the woods has got the ground covered!!!

Great pics...tks for sharing.
I am not judged by the number of times I fail, but by the number of times I succeed. And the number of times I succeed is in direct proportion to the number of times I can fail and keep trying.

Thanks for sharing George! Your right, retirement does help.

Nice walk, can't believe how open the woods are.  beautiful places.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

you've got on long sleeves!!!!!!!!!!!  it is bout 100 here now.  i have to go out in shorts and tees--it would be nice to have long sleeve weather!

Onehair

Long sleeves? It's thong weather down south. Great show

George D. Stout

It was fifty-eight degrees, and in the woods it was about five or six degrees cooler.  I always take a long sleeved shirt along when it's cool out...more people get hypothermia on cool damp summer days than any other time.  Expect the unexpected.

Onehair....don't think I would wear a thong in any weather.  Don't you have any big woods down there?  Those trees are like natural air conditioners.

Steve G

Thanks for the walk thru the Woods George.

Billy

No shots at the moon, George??

Grasses are a bit taller than I remember, and I think I mmmmissed that stump!!

Don't be playing Guitarzan on that stump,in a thong....you might find a banjo player  :saywhat:
