Been watching the last month or so as the chickadees started picking at this target.
Took them a week or so to hollow out one side.  They started on both ..... must be Norwegian birds :\\

A couple weeks ago I tipped the target while mowing and about half a dozen eggs rolled out.
I propped it back up with the eggs and they turned out ok.
This little guy jumped out to my light whistle twice.
Second time he jumped on the deers back.

After the flash went off he fainted off the opposite side of the target under the spruce.
I picked him up and put him back in the nest with his siblings.
They should be out of there soon.
Needless to say I haven't been getting much practice on that target lately.   :)

Pretty cool. Nature always finds a way.

For hunting to have a future, we must invest ourselves in future hunters.

LOL! That is cool! I have seen birds do that on many 3-D courses. In fact my son bought an old 3-D coyote from Lost Nation Larry with a couple bird holes in it. It must make a great home for them with all that insulation.   :biglaugh:
Just one more step please!

I had the same thing here.  Unfortunately I had no idea the little guys were in there until one of them scared the He!! out of me when I was pulling an arrow.

I have wrens that build each year in a large ball of twine that sits on a peg hook in the tractor garage.  I can't use the twine until the youngens fly.
