Hi to all my trad family,  today was my last day at work as they are closing up( so they say) 15 of us had to leave!this we found out thursday am, but knew it was coming for over a year!  so with that said, a new begining for me,  I"ll have more time to hunt with the bow, more shooting time and i will even buy myself a new bow,  I'll need help naming it as all i can think of is new begining, so if you have any thoughts as to a name with the same meaning, love to hear what you got!!  i'll go back to school in january to become something i want to be when i grow up!(lol)not sure what that will be so,when i'm not hunting something or shooting, i'll be doing lots of research!! best of luck to you....you have a good attitude.  "turning point" would be a good name.

I'm glad you've got a plan and are pretty positive about it all, Jim. God's best to ya!

Great attitude Jimmerc! It's like what I always tell my family and friends, "Find a way to be thankful for your troubles and they can become your blessings."

Phoenix was the first thing that came to mind, but kinda cliche.

"Born Again"

Today, the 22nd, made my 19th year at my job. One one hand I'm pretty lucky in today's job market to have had the same job for that long. Another way to look at it is I haven't found anything better in 19 years!

Good luck!

Drive on. Same here.
The last few years have really hindered my hunting and I am running out of time to spend it with my son.  With this economic downturn and my loss of employment, the Lord has given me time to do that.  I guess I can make money later.

How about "New Dawn". I know where your at. In 1987 I got laid of after almost 20 years, went to school and learned some new things. Got a new job ....lot less money but it was ok. Then in the spring of 1989 I got called back to my old job, got my vacation and benefits back and stayed till 2007 when I retired. Hang in there, be positive and you will be ok. Shoot and hunt every chance you can.....ron w
