I've seen alot of takedown pronghorns on this site anyone have any pics of their 1 piece. Is there any big difference in the 1 piece as far as performance compaired to the takedown.I'm lookin at getting one.
                             Thanks, Phil

I will try to get you some pics. I do not have a one piece personallly. However my Dad does have one and it shoots great. Its is faster that his three peice bows of the same weight.

Tracy (shedrock) will be along I hope. He will be able to help you out. He has a small heard of Pronghorns and will be able to give you a good comparison of one peice to three piece.

I will try to get my dad to put up a few pics for you.

I have had both of them and they were both fine shooters, but for me I liked the one piece better. No real reason I just like one piece bows more, they just look better and have smoother lines.

SCATTERSHOT

I have had both. While the one piece is a work of art, the three piece adds a little weight in the riser, which I have come to prefer.

FWIW, I usually don't disassemble mine, so it might as well be a one piece.

One piece Pronghorns have curves like a beautiful woman. Very sexy. They handle nicely also. My 56" is awesome.

a 1 piece pronghorn was the heaviest bow i ever owned 56#,i shot it for a year,i have owned 3,3 piecer's,all shot very well, altho to me the 1 piece had a slight edge, but i'm partial to 1 piece bows.

I owned a 1 piece and my brother and father-in-law owned the 3 piece models.  I was always jealous of theirs.  The heavier risers took out a lot of the hand shock and were much smoother.  That said they were lighter bows by a few pounds.  However they always felt a lot lighter to me so I think they must have a smoother force curve.  Just my two cents.

Really like the one piece. I have three of them. My latest is a little 56" that I love to death!. The one piece took a little bit of getting used to, (because of the lighter mass weight), but now I shoot it better than my 3 piece. It is my "go to" bow now.

I also agree with PrarrieDog. Very elegant bow.

Great no nonsense bows.  One piece for local hunting>>--->3 piece for air travel.  Plus a Pronghorn always stays at my cottage in case I forget to pack a bow for stumping or even hunting  :)  Doc

My Dad has the first ever prototype of the sleeve type takedown. I guess it's not a one piece but it looks like one   ;)

Yes, and I think I recognize the one next to the bottom however, if it's the same one? She did not have painted limbs at that stage.  :wavey:
