Got this today, courtesy of a trade with Ralph Harris.  All I can say is, "OW!" ...er, "WOW!"

...We spent about 5 hours out in the yard getting to know each other -- real well!  Add to this, the fact that she's about 3-4 pounds heavier than what I'm used to, and you begin to understand why my shoulders demand the afore-mentioned "OW!"

Anyway, the specs are: 62" 57@29, all walnut stained with checkered grip and antler tip overlays.  If you have not tried one of these bows, you owe it to yourself to beg, borrow, or buy one!

I think I'm going to name her "Patience" -- because I'm going to have to learn to govern my urge to keep shooting, or only shoot about every third day...  I like me some big ole bows!

Congratulations, they really are fantastic bows.  One of the few I regret parting with.
Do or do not ... there is no "try"

Love mine as well, enjoy. Mine's 58" I can't imagine how smooth and stable the 62"er is.

I bought one used with two sets of limbs, I could shoot the light 44 pound limbs all day. Get a lighter set of limbs and you won't be sorry.

Yesterday was all about shooting a Silvertip.  Managed to work the soreness out enough to do some tuning today.  This was shot from 23 yards.  The fletched shafts are in about a 1 3/4" inch group, and the bare shaft only a few inches right.  29" CX 150 with 175 grains up front.  I think we're getting close!!!

Think I'll stick with the 57@29 limbs.  I really like the trajectory on those arrows!!!  It is still feeling a little heavier than what I'm used to, but I think I can work into it real quick.  Didn't feel half bad shooting today.
