Should I expect Trad Lites with 250g up front cut to ~29" to work effectively with a set-up requiring a 51.5 dynamic spine?

My current set-up bare shafts extremely well with IMX500's(28.750"--19% FOC) and 216g up front. The proposed AD Trad Lite set-up will provide me both the desired final overall weight and EFOC.

I am shooting recurves and hybrid longbows from 46lb to 54lb @ 27" draw. My Trad lite are cut to 29" and I can shoot anywhere from 125gr head all the way up to the 300gr Xtreme broadheads I have with perfect arrow flight. Easiest to tune arrow I ever owned all I am buying now is Trad lites for my use.

Friend

Thank you for the response. I hope others will chime in to share their experinces with the Trad Lites.

My experience mirrors Cody's....the main thing I like about the AD's is that I "know" they'll shoot great out of anything...

The Trad lites will work great for your set up.  I would also go with a 100 grn Brass insert.

The Whittler

I picked some up from someome that were all set up, 31" crowned and feathered, weigh in the 490sgr.

I shoot 2 BW one is 53/#@28" and the other is 51#@28" and I draw 29". With a regular insert and 125gr head they fly great so I never bothered to cut them down any.

They seem to fly better then GT and Beman for me. I might just pick up some more, you can never have too many arrows.
