Can anyone tell me what kind and what size of serving I need for my fast flight strings. I just got some new strings that have a large, hard kind of serving on them that I don't like. My nocks fit way to tight on them and I don't want to resize all of my nocks. I would rather reserve the new strings and have a few others that need it too. Any info or input is greatly appreciated.

James, serving comes in different sizes. It depends on the nocks that you have. I use 22 on my Classic nocks

With all the different types of low stretch materials it hard to say.I like to use a 12 strand D97 with .024 Halo serving.A 12 strand D97 is strong enough for upto a 100# bow,I use the same string combo on bows from 50# to 83#.It gives me the same nock fit for all my bows. This combo gives me about .108-110 diameter and I like 3D Easton Super nocks for my standard carbons and use G-large groove with .098 throat, gives me a light snap but not too tight.

What type of nock, and how may strands of f.f. do you have?

I'm using Easton "H" nocks and Gold Tip nocks. Not sure how many strands, I'll have to check.
