can someone tell me the best/easiest way to remove a wrap from a gold tip(xt hunter)? The arrow in question has 4 4" fletchin and I want to change to 3 5". I have heard that it is difficult to strip fletchins from a wrap. Thanks  :banghead:

try running under really hot water or using a hair dryer to soften the glue

Friends call me Pac

I used a hair dryer.  Peeled off pretty easy after I heated it up.

An old hand me down recurve sparked the fire, Trad Gang fanned the flames.  There is no stopping now.  Burn baby burn!

Thanks Guys, I'll try my wifes' hair dryer. Do I need to worry about getting the arrow to hot?

just keep the dryer moving back and forth along the edge of the wrap, should have no worries

Onestringer

Hair dryer works great.  Put it in the toilet paper holder, set on the pot.  Heat the wrap and peel it like a banana
