deep hook

i just finished watching mbb 1 and they all shoot with a deep hook but non of them shared why or tghe benifits. i have always shoot off the pads of my fingers even when i use to shoot the wheelies with a fingers now i dont have any plans on changing at this point sinc eim happy with the results so far but i was wondering if there are major advantages to this tech. or if it spersonal prefffrence.
