I just received a new Samick Deer Master deluxe TD yesterday ,ordered it for my older grandson who wants to start bowhunting with grandpa this fall.  He is 16 and out grew his Nirk Rebel, so I thought I would try this bow since it's not expensive and seemed like a good "starter" bow. Man was I surprised when I put it together   :)   The grip feels as good as any recurve I have ever owned, the clear glass over the neat maple limbs show nice grain lines, the phenolic tip overlays are very nicely done, and she shoots an arrow fast and quiet.  There are a couple of small cosmetic flaws on the riser I would fuss a little about if it were a $1000 bow, but, hey, a kid is going to be hauling it around in the woods.  The price--$199.95.  Nothing not to like about this bow--a looker and a shooter.  Any of you out there looking for a nice bow for the wife, a youngster, our yourself, give it a look.  Wish I knew how to post pics of her here but have not learned that trick yet.  The riser is walnut on the back and maple on the grip side, DF 97 string came on it.  Kudos to Samick on this one.  You can't even buy used for that price any more......Dave

Big Ed, thanks for offer.  I'll have to shoot a couple tonight and get them to you.  I wanted to let others know about this little bow in case they need a bow and are short on cash.

I was pretty impressed with the Stingray I bought recently, too. Samick makes good stuff.

Ozy clint, she is 60" and pulling 40#@28" draw.  Smooth as butter on the draw and very quick.  Great buy!  They come from 35-65# I believe.

I picked one up three years ago and love it. 60 pound draw and smooth with no hand shock, with 550gr arrows.
I ain't got much, but I think I've got it made.
