What size do you prefer? Thanks.   BILL

Remember you can cut off any extra leather to fit your hand/finger size.

I use a large,I have fairly large hands and it just barely fits. I've never seen an extra large or a small so I don't know how to compare them.

Unless your fingers are REAL LONG, stay away from the XL..... my middle finger is 2.25" from base to the last joint (not the tip), and the plate is almost too big....

Put it this way - If you get a large (Elite), and it is too small, I'll trade ya.....mine has  probably got less than 100 shots on it.

I use the large and it seems to fit pretty well.  I don't have what I would consider huge hands.  A tab that's too big can always be cut down a tab that's too small will always be too small.

The Cavalier has an aluminum plate that fixes it in your hand... unless you are a machinist, you likely not cutting it down.  Yes, the tab (leather) can be shortened, but you still have too large of a plate in your hand....

Ahh, I've only used the one size, I didn't realize the metal part also scaled with the size of the tab.  DOH!

My hands are pretty big and the large works well for me.

SHOOTO8S

The tab plate should cover the width of the top 3 fingers....the large size measure 2 3/4''

At one time Cavalier listed the tab plate sizes on their website, but I can't find the info now.

After measuring your fingers you might call 3 R's and ask about sizes.

I consider my hands to be medium in size. The large Cav. fits me perfect, with a slight trim on the front.

I've got two, a medium and a Large.  The medium is perfect, just a little narrow on the plate in my hand.  Once I trimmed down the leather on the large, it fit me much better.

I've got medium sized hands according to the 3R chart, but of the two I prefer the cutdown Large over the standard medium.

I went with a large, took off the cheek metal and trimmed to get the rubber away from the string. I like this tab or the Black Widow.
