First one, dont ball your wet glove up and leave it in your trunk after a wet weekend of chasing bunnies at JLMBH. It grew. A lot. Did what I can to clean it, but Im not hopeful...soap and water and now it is drying in the sun....we will see what happens. Might just need to break down and order one. Any advice?

Secondly, it doesnt hurt at all without a glove. That REALLY surprised me. Shooting didnt seem to suffer either. I went for a shed hunt/stump shoot type of walk. Ended up finding one of my buddies arrows. figured I would shoot it for him to make sure its safe....

Thrid- I like CE Heritage arrows alot! Seems like I couldnt miss. They flew perfectly from my 56# LB(as long as I kept my form in check). I was completely and utterly impressed. No glove, and I was shooting out to about 25 yards with accuracy that was just silly.

It was a good day. Oh and Damon....or Shawn....whats the specs on those arrows anyway?  :biglaugh:

Harmless

ishiwannabe, I'm with you. I love my CE Heritage arrow's. They can take a beating. In 8 months I'v only been able to break one. If I was shooting cedars like I use to I would have gone through at least a dozen by now.

Jamie, tell me that you didn't dry a leather glove in the sun. Please.   :wavey:

I did Killy, but it isnt even close to being dry after a half hour.  :goldtooth:

Izzy, I was just looking at those...and the Bigshot.

Think this glove is, pardon the pun, shot.

Thanks Shawn...I was close, but it is good to know. Cant really shoot my "old" arrows with my new and improved anchor...Oh and I ended up with one of your cedars. I think at Briarback. No I havent shot that one.

Cant shoot a tab for some reason...tried one for a few weeks last summer before the Muzzy...

Im gonna see what I can do with this one and look into ordering something decent.

Sad to report the glove did not recover. When you take moisture, bunny juice(long story), darkness and time your glove can and will grow roots. And fuzz. And develop a nasty musty smell.
I now need a new one...

I love Damascus gloves. They are pretty cheap and they are thin enough that I can really feel the string without chewing up my fingers. I have 3, so I am never without one and I have not worn them out in 2 years of shooting.

Roy Steele

You like'ly shot better because with out the glove your archor changed alittle and centered the arrow under your eye different'ly.
